School City of Hobart: The educational arm of the community provides continuing education for adults as well as quality academic preparation for children grades K-12.
Access Indiana: The Official Website of the State of Indiana. Access Indiana Information Network (AIIN) is an interactive communication and transaction system designed to make communication of information quicker and more convenient for residents and businesses throughout Indiana. The Network is a central source of information related to Indiana State government. The site provides links to local governments, business and professional resources, associations, and other public information. As of August 1999, there were approximately 100,000 pages of content covering more than 75 state agencies, departments, and commissions, the judiciary system of Indiana, and the legislative branch including elected officials, Indiana code and administrative code.
Community Resource Directory: The Community Resources Directory is a database of about 2,000 service, professional, governmental and social organizations in Northwest Indiana. By searching this feature, users will learn more about each agency as well as access important phone numbers, addresses and contact names. Lake County Convention And Visitors Bureau: The Lake County Convention and Visitors Bureau maintains and promotes several activities and projects held throughout the year. It is active in local and regional media, trade shows, special events and the promotions of travel and tourism throughout Lake County.
Lake County Public Library: The Central Library and its 10 branches is one of seven libraries in Lake County offering books, magazines, CDs, audiocassettes, CD-ROMS and videocassettes for circulation. Word processing PCs and Internet access are available to the public at all agencies, as well as Inspire (online indexes to magazines and newspapers), and both dial-up and internet aceess to the online catalog.
