There's Plenty To Do In Hobart
Hobart's activities, programs and amenities offer something to please and interest everyone of any age: concerts in the park, arts and crafts fairs and the historic Fourth of July celebration and parade. Something fun is always happening.
Paddle a canoe down Deep River. Sail the waters of Lake George. Choose up sides for a game at the city ballpark or play a few sets on our public tennis courts. For summer fun, get in the swim of things at one of Hobart's swimming pools or enjoy nearby Deep River Water Park. We also have three 18-hole golf courses for those who would rather drive than dive.
For movie-goers there are plenty of multi-screen cinemas in Hobart including the historic art deco styled theatre downtown. Close by is the Star Plaza Theatre, which features an exciting variety of top-name entertainers and is the home of the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra.
Shoppers will appreciate our four major malls as well as the more intimate downtown shops.
